The Sky is the Limit!

I have often asked myself, why do most teenagers nowadays prefer to have kids rather than going to college. My belief is putting school as my number one priotriy. Boys and going out to party is the furthest thing from my mind right now. Being raised in a structured military family has given me the discipline and strength I need to achieve my goals. My mom always tells me to use her as an example of why eduation is very important. As of today my mom still has no degree or career because of her poor decesions made being a teenage mother. I look at it as a postive affect on my life even though it was negative for her. I would not choose anything over going to college to be successful.

    Yeah that's when they stop their education. Ima have to study hard to be successful too.

    To be honest with I would'nt consider you as a negative. We all make mistakes but we learn by them. I'm 40 years old and back in school. Because one thing my mom taught me is you never get to old to learn. You have a good head on your shoulders, and with that type of attitude you will get where you want to be. And you are right THE SKY IS THE LIMIT. Good luck!

      Thanks so much! I determine success when I finish college and begin my nursing degree. I want to be independent so that I don't have to go back home or depend on a partner. Before moving out my house or starting my own family, I want to assure that I have all my priorties in mind and accomplish them all before rushing into life fast.

    You have your prioritys right which is really good when wanting to further your goals.Keep that in mind to keep you going when you want to give up.
